We are always looking for highly motivated students at all levels and post-docs to work with our group. We enjoy our dark rooms, loud music, optics, imaging, movie-making, analysis and take pride in addressing interesting biological questions using these abilities. We strive to be a multi-disciplinary group with a high emphasis on the ability to function independently and develop/ discuss/ execute crazy ideas. We welcome like-minded people with the ability to stride smartly over failures intrinsic to scientific adventures of high risks.
We do not emphasize high academic performance but prefer motivation and originality from students. Please refrain from highly formal, mundane emails with projects from our own research page and sell us a good, original, idea when you write to us.
